Privacy Policy

Effective 25 October 2026 · Applies to this website

Primers Group ("Primers", "we", "us"), formerly Primers Corporation, is a technology company based in Abuja, Nigeria. This policy explains what personal data this website handles, why, and the rights you have under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and the regulations of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC). Each Primers product, such as SecureLink, Veltis One, BraidUp or Velaji, has its own privacy policy covering the data that product collects.

1. Who is responsible

Primers Group is the data controller for this website. Contact us about privacy at primerscorperation@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy".

2. What we collect on this website

This website has no user accounts, no tracking cookies, no advertising pixels and no analytics scripts. The enquiry form runs entirely in your browser. It prepares a message for you to copy and does not transmit or store what you type.

We receive personal data only when you choose to email us. That can include your name, email address, organisation and anything you write in your message.

Our hosting provider (Vercel) and our font provider (Google Fonts) may process technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the page securely. They act under their own policies.

3. Why we use it and our lawful basis

PurposeLawful basis under the NDPA
Replying to your enquiry, partnership or investment requestYour consent, and steps you ask us to take before a contract
Keeping records of agreements and correspondenceLegitimate interest and legal obligation
Keeping the site secure and availableLegitimate interest

We do not sell personal data, use it for automated decisions with legal effect, or send marketing without your consent.

4. Sharing

We share personal data only with service providers that help us operate, such as email and hosting, with our leadership team where needed to answer you, or where the law requires it. Providers must protect the data and use it only on our instructions.

5. International transfers

Some providers store data outside Nigeria. Where that happens we rely on the transfer safeguards permitted under the NDPA, such as adequacy decisions, contractual protections or your consent.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange and then deleted, unless they form part of a contract we must keep for longer under Nigerian law.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit, access limited to staff who need it, and managed credentials. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach is likely to put your rights at risk, we will notify the NDPC within 72 hours and tell you without undue delay, as the NDPA requires.

8. Your rights

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy
  • Correct inaccurate data or complete incomplete data
  • Ask us to delete your data or restrict how we use it
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier lawful use
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Receive your data in a portable format

Email us to use any of these rights. We reply within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

9. Children

This website is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data here. Products that serve children, such as Velaji, process data only with a parent or guardian's consent under that product's own policy.
